So we spent: - £2.2M on LGBT+ inclusion projects in Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia - £4M on making Universal Health Coverage more "inclusive" for transgender people in India, Thailand & Vietnam But the NHS is cutting 21k jobs over a £1.1bn deficit. This is beyond parody H/T @UKGovscan

A number of great accounts popping up 1. @UKGovscan - Independent transparency project. 2. @GreatBritishTT - Data-driven analysis of UK gov spending. 3. @UKDecline - Keeping track of the UK's spiralling decline statistics. 4. @HoTPOfficial - Vote on every bill and law ever debated in Parliament. Send others you know of, I am keeping a list. Pimp and share - data is a weapon.

That number is quite inflated as it counts inter-departmental transfers, DHSC → NHS England → NHS trusts. Will remove for now. The spending page shows all invoices over £25K from government departments. Government procurement card transactions (over £500) are available under the GPC tab when you select a department.

@UKGovscan £4,140 billion across 10.6 million payments averages £390k. Are you saying government employees are making payments of that size using cards, or have I misunderstood?

Suffolk County Council awarded a contract for 4 seats on a school run to Roman Hill Primary School, Lowestoft. Contract value: £4,389,000 Almost certainly a typo. But it's live on Contracts Finder right now. See it here: ukgovscan.com/contract/ocds-…

West Sussex County Council awarded £108 million to Comensura Limited for temporary agency staff. Four years. £27 million a year. Nearly 3% of the council's budget goes on temps managed through a broker. Higher hourly rates, no long-term commitment, and a management fee to a middleman on every single placement. But temps don't count towards headcount targets. And that's the game. See the details here: ukgovscan.com/contract/ocds-…
