Whatever you think of Polanski, pretty much everything he says here is true. The economic consequences of the war in Iran will reach everyone in Britain - and as Israel continues to escalate the conflict, things will only get worse. The Greens - whose policies would utterly destroy this country - cannot be allowed to monopolise the moral high ground on this issue. We have maintained from the beginning that Britain should have no part in this war. Fighting Israel’s wars for them is not in the national - or, indeed, international - interest.
ITVPolitics@ITVNewsPolitics

Green leader Zack Polanski says the war in Iran is 'illegal' '18 days ago the US and Israel launched an illegal bombing campaign in Iran' 'This was not a war of self-defence. There was no imminent threat'

This stupid war is going to make the world poorer. There will be a choice - accept recession or print to soften the blow. History suggests governments rarely choose pain, they're going to print money like maniacs.

@JMcMurdockMP You should be ashamed sharing misleading rubbish. As an MP I’d bloody hope you understand this is about protecting women in desperate situations from criminalisation, & that legal abortion remains very strictly limited & regulated, authorised by 2 doctors up to 24 weeks.

I dont think being overly emotional is particularly helpful when it comes to matters of the law but for the first time since becoming an MP I am genuinely sad about what parliament has done. I am sad because I know what the consequences will be. I am sad because I know nervous first time parents might give way to doubt and opt out of parenthood and how the reality of that means they'll be denied the greatest gift life will ever give them and instead inherit a life of monstrous guilt. I am sad because, now, healthy babies will be destroyed. I am really sorry that the UK has legalised full term abortion. For what it's worth, I voted NO. I am going to squeeze my children a little tighter and thank the universe a little more than normal this morning. You cannot become unpregnant. You just become the parent of a child you killed. That is the reality of life. We must face it. My babies.

The House of Lords have voted narrowly in favour of allowing abortion up-to-birth in England & Wales. The only solace is that one day they will meet Jesus.

@PeterMcCormack @julesw1lko @ZoeJardiniere @ZackPolanski Richard Vague's numbers on government vs private money creation: 92% private 2000-2024; 140% 1980-2000--IOW the government contribution to money supply growth was negative (I can explain how that happens). So are you opposed to private money creation, as well as government?

Dear @ZoeJardiniere, Yesterday you showed your support for @ZackPolanski’s economic plan. If I can prove to you that the economic models for his policies harm the poorest and middle-class the most…would you still support them or do you prefer making people poor? Both rent controls and wealth taxes are unable to achieve what the narrative proposes, the economic theory fails and this has been tested throughout history and proven to fail. Let me know, happy to supply as you keep saying how you want to help the poor, so surely you don’t want an economic model that harms them. Thanks Peter

Inside the Manosphere by @louistheroux illustrates the need to support boys and young men in Britain with a more positive vision for their future. As Deputy PM and as a dad, I’m committed to making sure they have the role models, opportunities and support they need to thrive.

There are ten times more billionaires in the UK than there were when I was a child, said @ZackPolanski. We hosted the Green Party leader for a major economic speech yesterday.

Cutting international aid is a false economy – and one which puts Britain’s security at greater risk. The UK’s defence does not exist in isolation from global security. You cannot make Britain safer by making the rest of the world more unstable.

@MatthewStadlen Why don't you just come on my show and talk through all these issues? I'd happily host you. I make fun of you but I do actually think we could have an interesting conversation. We can try and understand where each is coming from.

Those against the Muslim prayer in Trafalgar Square and those defending it are proving the same point. You can't force cultural cohesion, however much you want to. There are fundamental differences between religions and cultures which can create tensions. Call people racist as much as you want but you don't get to decide how people feel. History is littered with examples of cultures and religions clashing. Just look at Lebanon. While it might feel all warm and fuzzy inside to say everyone is welcome, wherever they are from, whatever they believe and they can do whatever they want...but really this is ideology for the low IQ people who fail to read and understand history.

@PeterMcCormack Who’s saying people can do whatever they want? Don’t be lazy. Don’t be intellectually dishonest. I’m sure you have several Muslim friends.

Anti-Muslim prejudice has no place in British society. Nick Timothy, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage should be deeply ashamed of themselves.
