Started my Stocks & Shares ISA. £12,000 → £12,752 in ~1 month. +£752 (+10.7%) Good start but this isn’t about one month. It’s about what this becomes in 10–20 years. Documenting everything from here.

Be honest: What was your worst ever investment? Mine was listening to financial influencers in 2021 😂

Thank you for all the very kind messages about the BAFTA and my speech. Didn't know I was going to go like that, but felt it an important message. Nice pics to come after the dinner.

@KalumInvests @nifrizzle A lot more than you or I think One bad experience can completely put someone off investing for years. That’s why financial education matters so much.

The average UK house price growth over the last 20 years has been around 4-5% annually. Meanwhile the S&P 500 has historically returned closer to 8-10%+ with dividends reinvested. Property gives leverage and stability. Stocks give liquidity, compounding and zero maintenance costs. I honestly think the “best” choice now depends more on income, flexibility and how early someone starts investing.

Is buying a property still the best financial decision for a young person in the UK? Or does renting and investing the difference make more sense now? Between high house prices, mortgage rates, stamp duty, maintenance costs and limited flexibility, I’m not sure the answer is as obvious as it used to be. Interested to hear both sides.

@nifrizzle What did you invest in though? If you’d put that £2k into the S&P 500 during lockdown and just left it alone, it’d likely be worth around £3.5k-£4k today with dividends reinvested. Not life-changing overnight… but that’s how real wealth usually starts. Slowly.

@0xAralez Every year: “This time the S&P 500 is different.” Meanwhile the long-term chart keeps going up.

🚨 S&P 500 WON’T PLAY OUT AS EXPECTED... Most people look at S&P 500 and assume everything is fine It’s not There’s an alternative version of the index where every company has equal weight - no Nvidia or Apple artificially lifting it This version has already formed “Equal Weight” pattern, which previously warned us about major market downturns First time: Equal Weight peaked while SPX kept printing new highs → then came a ~22% drop Now same signals are flashing again Behind the gains of mega caps, ~480 stocks are quietly losing strength Right now $SPX is just an illusion of stability that could soon break into “blood-red days” for global markets When leaders start showing weakness, the drop becomes inevitable... Don’t fall into the trap - turn on notifs, I’ll update

JUST IN: 45% chance S&P 500 hits 8,000 this year

Trying to balance: • a 9–5
• investing
• building an audience
• improving financially while still enjoying life is honestly harder than people think.

@NotA_Bull Everyone talks about finding the next 10x stock. Very few talk about surviving long enough emotionally to actually hold one.

Index funds are for staying wealthy, not for building wealth. If you're under 30, you should be hunting for 10x growth stocks, not 8% returns. Agree or Disagree?

I asked ChatGPT: “How much would investing £500/month from age 25 become by 50 at 8% annual growth?” Answer:
≈ £475,000

My business is in e-commerce. Bought stock, reinvested heavily, kept costs lean and focused on compounding through the business rather than taking too much out early. Outside of the business, I’ve been maxing my Stocks & Shares ISA since 19, bought a property (with a large deposit using my ISA funds which I regret and will go into detail at some point I’m sure), and contribute into my SIPP through the business, which also helps reduce corporation tax. Not overnight at all. Just years of reinvesting, staying consistent.
