Thank you for your support @NEGOP, we hope that elected officials will be held to a higher standard. We echo and want an apology from Megan and hope decorum can return to the political process. Dehumanizing language has no place in our state.

@UNK_GOP did exactly what students should do — they spoke out. Senator Megan Hunt responded by comparing them to a Nazi war criminal. The Nebraska Republican Party stands with these students and is demanding an apology. Full statement below. ⬇️

Nebraska State Senator Megan Hunt just called UNK College Republicans “little Eichmanns” — straight-up Nazi references — because they had the audacity to oppose a transgender seminar and DEI indoctrination at a public university. Sorry, Senator. The actual Nazis did not support “trans” anything. They burned the early gender clinics, persecuted homosexuals, and would’ve done way worse than politely saying “no thanks” to you showing up to mutilate and brainwash our kids. They didn’t limit events — they eliminated people. We oppose the indoctrination and mutilation of our children. Full stop. That’s not extremism. That’s basic parental sanity and protecting the next generation. And for the record: Hunt already sued us for defamation once over calling out her radical agenda. She lost. With prejudice. At least she’s consistent in her crazy. Nebraska deserves better than this unhinged nonsense from a sitting state senator.

@UNK_GOP The poasting was one thing. Being a very popular student body President and directly exposing administration’s lies about lack of campus safety, calling out COVID-era craziness, and then pointing out the hateful, anti-free speech student newspaper was what earned their scorn.

Thoughts and ideas are best parsed through during original, authentic intellectual engagement. Not the phony, left-wing groupthink garbage that UNK was paying for. Nebraskans will not stand for their tax money paying for it. If you want to fund it, start writing the check.

Still waiting for an apology from WSC President Rames for looking the other way while scumbag professor Rodney Cupp and WSC Public Relations administrator Jay Collier were whining about me.
