Confronted over allegations that he sexually assaulted a minor, Fishback yelled at a Black man and screamed that he “should be lynched.” Let that sink in. To invoke lynching — the brutal history of racial terror, torture, and murder that Black Americans endured for generations in the South — and hurl it directly at a Black voter? That’s not passion. That’s vile. Fishback claims to be a conservative fighting for America First values. Real conservatives don’t defend or excuse this garbage. They condemn it loudly and clearly. The entire GOP should fervently denounce James Fishback for this. No excuses. No whataboutism. No “he was just angry.” This isn’t how we win hearts, minds, or elections. It’s how we hand ammunition to our opponents and alienate decent people. Fishback’s behavior reveals someone more desperate for viral clicks and rage-bait attention than for actually serving the public. Candidates like this drag the movement down. Strong families. Moral clarity. Decency. That’s what conservatism should stand for — not this. Condemn it. Repudiate it. Move on from grifters who think edgy shock tactics substitute for character.
