@app_settings If you want a fair comparison with an iphone 17 pro max, use S26Ultra not S24Ultra. If you want a fair comparison with the S24 Ultra, use the Iphone 15 Pro Max

Day 3 of switching to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (as an iPhone user)
ok y’all, it’s time. i can’t do this anymore. i’m switching back to my iPhone 😭
don’t get me wrong- the S24 Ultra is a great phone, and i totally get why so many people love samsung.
that being said, although there are a lot of things i like about this phone, my iPhone 17 Pro has better performance, a MUCH better camera, and i honestly miss iOS and the Apple Ecosystem and Live Activities SO MUCH 😭
ALSO, android apps just aren’t as nice to use as iPhone apps- they feel a lot less polished because they have fewer in-app animations and haptics and stuff 🫠
the benefits of a Samsung phone- like the S-pen and Good Lock- just aren’t important enough to me personally for me to keep using it over my iPhone ngl, but i totally get why people pick Samsungs over iPhones- it’s INSANE how much you can tweak and mess around with lol
this was a really fun experiment, but until Google focuses on improving app quality on Android i really don’t think i could ever switch to using an Android as my main phone lol
i’m gonna keep the S24 Ultra as a secondary phone, so i can still have the Android experience and post about it, but my eSim will be going back in the iPhone :p
my iPhone has all the customisation features i could want, so again- i personally don’t really find things like Good Lock worth giving up app quality and the Apple ecosystem and stuff for 😭
ANYWAY- thank you all for reading! i’m going to make a long-form video soon talking about the experience in more detail, so keep an eye out for when i post that! lmk if you have any questions or anything and i’ll answer them asw✌️

@UniverseIce We hear that samsung wants to bring a pro model every year. This time, i will believe it when i see it

BREAKING! Samsung Galaxy S27 series will introduce a new “Pro” model — essentially an Ultra without the S Pen.
That means the lineup will expand to four models: Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra.
Samsung Electronics plans to add a new high-end model to the Galaxy S27 series next year, strengthening its flagship smartphone lineup. This move aims to broaden consumer choice while responding to Apple’s four-model strategy.
According to industry sources on April 6, Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) division has decided to introduce a “Pro” model to the Galaxy S27 series, expanding the lineup from three to four models. Since the Galaxy S20 series in 2020, Samsung has maintained a three-tier flagship structure: standard, Plus, and Ultra. This will now evolve into a four-tier lineup: standard, Plus, Pro, and Ultra.
An industry insider familiar with the matter said, “Previously, Ultra was the only high-end model. Now Samsung plans to add a Pro, expanding the premium segment to two models. Specific details like display size are not finalized yet, but the general direction is clear: a high-end model without the S Pen, while sharing most of the Ultra’s technologies.”
Another source added, “The ‘privacy display’ feature that generated strong reactions on the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to expand to two models in the next generation, and the newly added model will likely include it.”
The last time Samsung added a new model to the Galaxy S lineup was two years ago, when it introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, emphasizing a thinner design. It was launched two months after the S25 series.
Originally, the Edge was intended to replace the Plus model starting from the S26 series. However, due to market feedback, Samsung canceled that plan and returned to developing and releasing the Plus model.
This time, the Galaxy S27 Pro is not a replacement, but an expansion of the lineup. Industry observers believe Samsung is aiming to strengthen its position by enhancing the competitiveness of its high-end models while offering more choices.
The Pro model is expected to feature technologies that differentiate it from the standard and Plus variants. For example, the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduced features such as the privacy display and a 200MP camera, which were not available on the standard or Plus models.
Some analysts also interpret this move as a response to Apple’s four-model strategy. Apple currently structures its lineup with standard models (including the base and Air) and premium models (Pro and Pro Max), while Samsung has so far maintained only a single Ultra model at the high end.

@UTDIzeeq @blackishpress Tech is different from how we consume things.

J. Cole criticizes streaming systems and the way people consume music nowadays:
“What I don't like right now is like, yo, you pay your $15 a month or your $10 a month. You got every f***ing song in the world. We already undervaluing all the songs in the world. But then, uh, an album drops, a conversation happens. You don't even give a f*** about this artist. You never loved this artist. You don't even really care about the genre. You're not educated in the genre and the space. You just see a conversation happening and you wanna be a part of the conversation. So now let me go listen to such album at 12 o'clock or the next day. I didn't do no work to actually get to this album and to having an opinion. If I didn't like an album when I bought that shit on CD, guess what, n****? I got the right to not like this because I spent $15.99. That's right. I got the right and now I can have a conversation with somebody else that spent their $15.99. If you didn't spend $15.99, you can't even talk to me about this album. We can't have a conversation. You didn't do the work. You didn't make any type of investment. Now, you don't love this n**** you just listened to his album. You don't even like this person. But, but to be a part of the conversation and to have an opinion, let me go listen to this shit. There's no barrier of entry for anyone to experience the music. And live with it. So, what I was trying to make was like, back in the days, I feel like they only had the option of listening with their heart. They didn't have any social media runs to talk to. They buy the record. They put the record on. My, my parents was in the army, so they would buy the records, take it back to the barracks, put it on. They probably have a gathering of people listening to this shit. They party. It's like what's the party experience. It's a heart. There's no like, they didn't sit around and go, Yo, I really think he could have shaved off five songs. Sonically. Sonically, I really thought he would have went a different direction”.

@grok @iamtenseven @willofgodd @KingBobIIV @grok what do you mean forgave her initially? Did he later unforgive her?
English

Yes, Islamic sources like Sahih al-Bukhari (e.g., 2617, 3169, 4249) confirm the incident: After conquering Khaybar in 628 CE, Zaynab bint al-Harith (a Jewish woman whose husband and relatives were killed in the battle) served Muhammad and his companions a poisoned roasted sheep, targeting the shoulder he preferred. He spat out a bite after sensing the poison; companion Bishr ibn al-Bara' swallowed some and died soon after. She confessed it was revenge/test of his prophethood. Muhammad forgave her initially.
He referenced lingering pain from it during his final illness (fever) in 632 CE, 4 years later, per hadiths like Bukhari 4428. Whether it directly caused his death is debated—some traditions link it as a contributing factor, others say natural causes. The story is standard in Sunni hadith literature.
