Jeez. I'm afraid I found this close to unwatchable. Surely, ONLY of appeal to a DW completist wanting to experience the story with visuals. And even there I think it fails. Much of the time I hadn't a clue what the f*** was going on.

@ChannelDogYT I think it was 6 episodes that featured archive footage of older Doctors... Rogue Empire of Death The Well The Story and the Engine Wish World The Reality War

Felt like RTD was just thinking about any other actor BUT the main Doctor during his era. Out of all 18 of his episodes, an old companion or Doctor appeared in 7. 4 featured archive footage of previous Doctors. 3 were Doctor Lite. Didn't meet the Daleks. Absolute failure.

The correct answer in this interview would've been "Ncuti Gatwa is the Doctor". It would display absolute confidence, and that's the way any actor should be treated when they're the current Doctor. The anniversary was over by this point.

@StarWarsDaily_ Sorta? Script was decent, acting was pretty good, but the production quality was awful. Lack of atmosphere, shaky cam, too dark, lazy cinematography. Deborah Chow was the wrong choice for director. However, it had good moments, and I felt it developed Obi -Wan well.

Did the Obi-Wan Kenobi show live up to your expectations?

@IanLevine Two episodes not seen for 61 years finally returned to the BBC and all you want to do is compare them to your AI versions? Really Ian?

Obviously I'm thrilled that part one and three of my all-time favourite Doctor Who story have successfully been returned. If this had happened three years ago, I would've not been able to sleep from excitement. But now I feel ambivalent.

@DrWhoStation @ChrisWalkerT Yes 100%, I've said this for ages, either people will hate the Piper thing or be mad about a lack of explanation. RTD's written himself into a corner. I just find it sad when people like Chris have lost basically all hope in the show like they have at the moment. That's all.

@UnknownEditor07 @ChrisWalkerT No matter what happens, people are going to have every right to complain - either they stick with whatever they're doing with Rose and open up the complaints about even more nostalgia bait, or they scrap it and go for a new Doctor, leaving fans angry with no explanation.

This is speculation. It’s not confirmed. Stay calm. The episode is likely to be worse than this.

@DrWhoStation @ChrisWalkerT I agree with you to an extent, but my point is that none of those things are going to go away by complaining about this christmas special before we know anything about it. It might be the best episode ever. It might not be. Nobody's helping by just deciding it'll be bad atp.
