Just finished my work experience placement at Doctor Who Magazine - I had a really great time doing lots of interesting things, including a practice interview with @Emily_Rosina! The main person I worked with was @PercyIvorWoo and I want to say thanks again for an amazing week!

@London19653p so unfair Capaldi had companions and the current one was the second ones. It’s like saying “my mom is my favorite mom that I’ve had”. If he was picking a companion that he hasn’t had, then we’d see an interesting answer, like K9 or Petrol.

Trying to get into Big Finish! So far I’ve only listened to this story (along with the brilliant @josh_snares animation)! Does anyone have any ideas on a good place to start? There are so many stories and I’m scared I’ll start a story and have no idea what’s happening!

@timelesschild The only part I like in The Reality War is the last 20 minutes. For a forced rewrite, I thought Ncuti got a decent send-off. Everything else I just thought was a bit naff. It's not a great finale by any means, but a lot of people forget how great the rest of the season was, IMO.

Oh come on. It's so sad how the era ended, and that we didn't see the story as intended... ...but isn't Wish World/The Reality War a genuinely amazing finale? 😍 It feels like an unintentionally great conclusion to 15's era. The Rani is EPIC, and there's so much to enjoy 🙌💙💙

Even if it has essentially no real connection to what goes on within the text, the cover for Sometime Never is perhaps the coolest thing this franchise has ever put out.

@miadoctorwho I think with 3, he spends his early seasons bored of being stuck on Earth. Then, his exile is lifted and he realises that he doesn't want to get away from the people on Earth. Think of Jo. He could have left Earth any time after The Three Doctors, but he doesn't.

I need someone to convince me to like the 3rd Doctor but it needs to be someone who doesn’t automatically enjoy all the 3rd Doctor’s stories if you know what I mean. He’s the only main doctor I don’t ‘get’ and I’d like to enjoy him. Also a watchlist (eu allowed) would be great.

@SaeedTV_ One of Brighton's key advantages is that half of their squad is composed of players who are comfortable just going to play upfront even if it's not their primary position, Van Hecke seems to do this most often but you see it with tonnes of other players

Brighton are a funny team to watch. Why am I constantly seeing Van Hecke upfront?

WHAT IS GOING ON

Such a shame the range includes a Ncuti Gatwa figure - I can't abide him or his era. Being a build-a-figure set you have to buy them all, or buy none. I've made my choice; hard pass. Had the collection been all Classic Who figures you couldn't have taken my money fast enough!

@hostproductions It's great, isn't it? Probably my favourite Davison story. Not the best, but my favourite. In my opinion, some of the best performances in the whole of the classic series, and some really lucid imagery.

Watching Doctor Who 'snakedance' for the first ever time - I'm so hooked?! It feels so different to other classic episodes, really bold and psychedelic? So many lovely performances within too.
