I was shocked to realize how short the seige was. 6 weeks? Really? Seems like a pretty quick capitulation as sieges go...

Kentuckian 1LT Garlin Conner received the Medal of Honor posthumously today in a ceremony at the White House for his actions in the ETO during WWII. His name has already been inscribed inside the state Capitol. #MOH #WWII
