@pawjobsatwork I was surprised when the juries' and people's votes coincided with what I was cheering for (i.e., Bulgaria). I'm used to that people like ballads like Austria's last year song or other things that don't captivate me that much. So I wouldn't have been surprised if Finland had won

@fayanzar People liked it even though I'm not as popular as you. Your conlangs might get much more appreciated. They are more well-developed than mine. IIRC I deciphered your dragon language during a "broken phone" conlang challenge and it was amazing. No pressure though

i was thinking recently about posting stuff about my conlangs, but i doubt I'll do this, and here's why. in order to appreciate visual art, you need only your eyes. you can look at a picture and go, 'wow it's cool!' while knowing nothing about the techniques and subtleties.

@fayanzar I feel pretty much the same except in my city there are language festivals and neurodivergent infodumping events where I can yap in front of an interested audience and get questions and feedback. They don't happen that often though and in most of the other days I'm lonely
