@jimiuorio Boomer here. Generation Jones. I grew up never believing Social Security would be there when I need it. I never once thought it was to help me in my old age. I ALWAYS thought it would be some soupy icing on my cake.

Stop fraud, stop sending money to foreign countries, stop giving welfare, etc to non-citizens, stop all the lobbying that allows our elected representatives to become rich with kickbacks from our tax dollars, make non-profit hospitals that pay their execs muti-million dollar salaries for profit so that they must pay taxes, cancel the retirement plan that all elected officials have and put that money towards social security. government is a horrible steward of our money and needs to be put under a microscope.

no... The ONLY compromise on the table for me is write me a check for all the money confiscated into the ponzi scheme from the day I received my first paycheck in 1978. I have been working and "contributing" ever since. They don't even need to pay me interest, just give me what I paid in and we are done.

Everybody seems to think this is going to be modern day ‘Death Wish’ but it’s almost certainly going to be another ‘Gran Torino’ or ‘Falling Down’ where the premise is superficially RW but the entire movie is about undercutting the RW premise. Best to ignore.

Lusty cashed the checks, did some useless make work, and closed up shop in time for the ‘26 campaign season. A white collar smash and grab operation. All technically “legal“, of course.
