उमरी, जि. नांदेड येथून रेणापूर, जि. लातूर येथे बदली झालेले तहसीलदार श्री. प्रशांत थोरात यांनी उमरी येथील निरोप समारंभादरम्यान तहसीलदारांच्या अधिकृत खुर्चीत बसून गाणे सादर केले. सदर कार्यक्रमाचा व्हिडिओ समाजमाध्यमांवर प्रसारित होऊन मोठ्या प्रमाणावर व्हायरल झाला आहे. व्हिडिओमध्ये श्री. थोरात विविध अंगविक्षेप व हातवारे करताना दिसत असून, त्यांचे वर्तन हे एका जबाबदार शासकीय अधिकाऱ्यास अजिबात शोभणारे नाही. या प्रकारामुळे शासन व प्रशासनाची प्रतिमा मलिन झाली असून, ही बाब अत्यंत गंभीर आहे. जिल्हाधिकारी, नांदेड यांनी यासंदर्भात सादर केलेल्या अहवालाच्या अनुषंगाने श्री. प्रशांत थोरात यांना तत्काळ निलंबित करण्यात येत आहे. प्रत्येक शासकीय अधिकाऱ्याने आपण त्या खुर्चीत असताना पदाची गरिमा, वेळ, स्थळ आणि संदर्भ याचे भान ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे. शासकीय पदावर कार्यरत असताना त्या पदाच्या जबाबदाऱ्या, मर्यादा व प्रतिष्ठा जपणे ही प्रत्येक अधिकाऱ्याची प्राथमिक जबाबदारी आहे. कौटुंबिक किंवा खासगी समारंभात अशा सादरीकरणास मुभा असली तरी शासकीय व्यासपीठावर वर्तवणुकीची मर्यादा पाळणे अपेक्षित आहे. सर्वच शासकीय अधिकाऱ्यांनी याचा गांभीर्याने विचार करावा आणि आपल्या वर्तनातून पदाची मर्यादा व प्रतिष्ठा जपावी, ही अपेक्षा आहे. #Maharashtra #RevenueMinister #ChandrashekharBawankule
