My sweet mom died tonight. My heart hurts. I know that with everything going on no one will see this. But still, I feel the need to put it out to the universe that my mom was a deeply kind and good person. She deserved so much better than this world gave her.

In honor of teacher appreciation This morning my Principal, Vice Principal, instructional coach and executive secretary came to my house. They dropped off a basket full of my favorite snacks and a sign for my yard. This was a pleasant surprise. Thanks Cedars Int’l Academy. ❤️

What’s a teacher to do when she misses her students so much? I have written each of my 37 students a little note and decorated the note card with stickers. And I also sent them 4 smiley face stickers. I hope this brings a HUGE smile to their face when they get it.
