@charlieo_conn When the team suppresses so many opportunities, there's not really a whole lot of goals ABOVE expected to be saved. Might be time to make a %GSAx stat (take GSAx and divide it by total xGA or something). A goalie having 0.5 GSAx should say more in a 1-0 game than 4-3

Dan Vladar is 19th in the NHL in Goals Saved Above Expected. Basically mid-tier NHL starter. He's been good! He'll be my vote for Team MVP. But the idea that he's "carrying" this team is just straight up incorrect. Strikes me as a way to dismiss the rest of the team's quality.
