@geomaxxednomad 'based retard internet libertarians' from the Ron Paul era don't really exist anymore. I think you could argue that whistleblowers like Snowden/Assange were 'based retard libertarians' and maybe make an argument that tech billionaire libertarians like Musk/Theil are close to it.

@OutletInlet @Animuwrangel They were the most indicative of where Moot stood politically: non-partisan 'internet libertarian' who adamantly believed in free speech and an uncensored internet. It also demonstrated that he was a very intelligent guy.

I should clarify that when I say '8chan founder' I do not mean hotwheels (disgusting creature/former wizchan owner) I mean 'the guy that stole 2ch and tried to kill hotwheels after seizing 8chan from him' (everyone in this story is a demonic creature)

Hiroyuki doesn't own 2ch anymore, the domain was seized from him by the 8chan founder. Moot doesn't own 4chan anymore- Hiroyuki owns 4chan. Hiroyuki avoids legal problems by living in Paris, but 4chan is so pozzed up now that it has very little cultural impact anyways.

When pressuring advertisers & threatening lawsuits wasn't enough to sink either platform they both got hit with a slew a libel/defamation lawsuits (which they lost) and that created much more severe financial problems that caused Moot to cave and Hiroyuki to get his domain seized
