I see today is going to be “Blame the Rockets!” day rather than maybe a little introspection from folks who at various times this year said with absolute and total conviction… •LeBron’s contract is an albatross/Lakers should be desperate to move off him. •The Lakers are better without LeBron on the court. •KD & Steph are clearly better than LeBron at this point. •LeBron was a primary problem with the Lakers defense. •This offseason any serious team shouldn’t offer LeBron more than the mid-level exception. •The Rockets had 5 of the 6 best players in the series & should sweep the Lakers. These takes were EVERYWHERE all year long. You were considered delusional/fanboy if you pushed back at all. While the Spurs did quite well this year without Wemby, they were truly awful when they didn’t have Wemby OR Kornet, which means the Blazers have to absolutely dominate the non-Kornet minutes in the 2nd Half.

The Wemby potential concussion (and the fact that in the NBA a concussion typically means a player is out ~8 days) has all of a sudden made OKC -200 to win the West and for the first time all year, a minus money favorite to win the title at -115.
