It isn't inconsistent to oppose both "we should execute anyone who commits a misdemeanour," and "no one should ever be arrested ever again." You can oppose two extremes.

I've a question for people who work in customer service. If you send an email that doesn't need a response, such as "we have dispatched the item, and refunded you £5. We apologise for the delay," do you want the customer to email you back? Or do you not want the extra email?

this one time in college i applied for a job at a hipsterly coffee house in princeton. the application was on bright red paper. part of it was a blank box with the instruction “put whatever you want in here” I drew a picture of a house and a tree. didn’t get an interview XB!
