More than 35% of #Tibet has been designated as protected areas, including the #ChangTang natural reserve covering 290,000 km2. @TheWCS is helping to study and protect some of the largest migrations of mammals of the planet, like the Tibetan Antelope #Chiru @WCSChina

The rocky outcrops in the #ChangTang landscape are home to the secretive #Snowleopard. @WCSChina is monitoring populations over more than 2000 km2 using camera traps, revealing strong populations in the wild.
