Christianity informs everything from our conception of morality to our legal system. Liberals and Leftists just assume without evidence that if/when the religion dies, everything that’s built upon it will remain fully intact with zero questions asked. That isn’t what’s going to happen. If “billions must question Christianity” now, then billions will also inevitably question its metaphysical worldview, and those same smug Progressives who cheer the decline of Christianity are going to be horrified when they find out they have nothing left to appeal to when people begin questioning things they all took for granted, like whether all men are truly created equal, or whether slavery is truly evil, or whether forgiveness and reconciliation are virtues instead of conquest and plunder.
