@Nesterp99 I personally love the make an offer listings that will only allow it to go through to the seller if it’s within 1% of the minimum price they are asking for. What’s the point? If that’s the case, just list it as Buy It Now. And yes, the decline and no counter is a joke.

If you get a lowball eBay offer, don’t get all bent out of shape, just counter it. Don’t decline, don’t worry about how Low it is, just counter it with the price you want. $100 offer in a $500 card? don’t decline, just counter $480. It sends a much better message imo

@mikemaher_cards @CardPurchaser With every repack we step closer and closer to government regulation of this industry. ⏳Repacks skirt the “no purchase necessary” and mail in options and therefore could be considered gambling. Shady figures with bogus repacks only draw more and more negative attention.

This is a tweet from @CardPurchaser, an account with over 100,000 followers, spreading lazy misinformation and surface-level generalizations about repacks. People in the hobby see tweets like this and take them as fact… meanwhile, he’s making bold claims about a part of the hobby he clearly doesn’t understand. When you have a platform that big, saying reckless stuff like this while also HIDING POSTS from people disagreeing with him or talking about @heatersrepack or other repacks in a good way, does real damage to the hobby and is flat-out irresponsible. If you’re going to speak on something with that kind of reach, do the work to understand it first or at least have the integrity to allow both sides to be seen. 🤙🏻
