Literally just downloaded the first 6 Final Fantasy games today. That alone is like 100+ hours of play time I think and it's super easy to download and can probably run on any device

@WZRDisSleepy @JeanFeliz_ If you’re interested in just RPGs in general, Dragon Quest 11 is a GEM. It is quintessential JRPGs (it is the series that started the genre)

1. not everyone can run the game due to not having specs or a console 2. not everyone can afford to buy lots of games 3. simply not wanting to. some of us genuinely enjoy watching videos of other ppl playing and that’s okay

@MichealShyne @JeanFeliz_ Yeah I plan on playing both 7 and crisis core. Then take a gap maybe play other FF or something else and then play the remake

"just emulate bro" most modern games have such big specs that getting a device to run them is already an undertaking and second sure i'm going to risk bricking my only phone/pc just because i don't want to be called a larper

@MichealShyne @JeanFeliz_ I have heard that Rebirth is better if you have played the og first. So I will either play 7 og or 4 first

@WZRDisSleepy @JeanFeliz_ You can play ANY of them first, because they all separate but I think 7 is genuinely the best starting point. Either the OG or the remake.
The systems also translate the most to the other games and it will give you a good sense of what final fantasy is like

Gaming is an interactive medium, that is what seperates it from everything else. To be a fan of a game is to interact with it.

This felt like a video game disguised as a movie. Set piece A to Set piece B to continued exposition to Set piece C, with no input from the characters changing anything of the plot.

This mind set will never be accepted no matter how hard people try. Sorry. But you can fix that by playing and beating the games you claim to be a fan of. Easy fix. Thats a very low barrier of entry i think and a fair one.
