A change in clocks is both a writer's dream and his personal nightmare.

The "Fifties team" used to be a thing at West Point. Doug was a Fifties player. Kinda like a minor league if you couldn't make the football team. But man, that dude had no 9 on the meter. Just constant hardcore. Impressive man. Guy you looked up to. I still do.
