I have a serious issue with this creator mohuya khan. she is a bangladeshi. her entire page is about stealing indian things & calling it "south asian". when I uploaded this video. it was about Indian representation, from india. not a free-for-all for vague regional branding. which is a logical fallacy because they never include nepal or bhutan in south asia or consider it's diversity. calling Indian aesthetics, history, & achievements “south asian” is not inclusivity. It’s reductionary erasure. mind you, bangladesh is officially doing g€nocide of hindus. Notice how : >concert was in india, this is about indian representation. yet she calls them south asian baddies refusing to name india. that's not neutral but deliberate dilution. > she doesn't mention how surgery, turmeric, concept of zero, decimal, yoga, all rooted in hindu culture. shampoo was made by hindus again. within ayurveda, champi is a known procedure. again "misses" to mention it. rebranding them "south asian" conveniently removes their origins. Note : she is from bangladesh that is brning hindu men alive bdw. Yet she wants to co-opt in name of "south asia". > India used to be hub of cotton, muslin, jamdani not entire south asia & is rooted in hindu civilization & culture. > aishwarya rai, priyanka chopra. only indian women from india have won miss world. yet she calls them "south asian". stripping away their national identity with which they stood on stage. how is this even okay? they cannot just erase identity of indians from india & reduce it to entire geographical location. the culture of india belongs to indians, not entire south asia. notice how “south asia” magically centers India’s output but rarely includes Nepal, Bhutan, or regional diversity. India gets erased; its culture gets redistributed. she was even calling kolapuri chappal fiasco as "south asian", when it is solely indian. Bangladesh & Pakistan constantly want to co-opt indian representation in name of south asia, yet they are racists towards indians & have wiped out hindu people in their country. their elites eagerly claim Hindu/Indian culture abroad while hindus are persecuted or erased at home. yet suddenly it’s all “ours” under south asia. > hindu women that they r@pe in their countries are now their "south asian" representation. erasing indian indentity is fascism at best & hinduphobia at it's worse. she needs to be held accountable for constantly doing this, all over her page.
