@WinkelTroy@S1ipen@Simon_Ingari You know, I forgot about you.....Mr. Winkel.
Obviously I didn't care about the answer as much I thought I did.
Have a good life...
Employee: Here is my two weeks’ resignation notice.
HR Manager: You didn’t tell me you were planning to leave.
Employee: Yes, I wanted to wait until the right time.
HR Manager: The right time?
Employee: I’m joining a new company with a better offer.
HR Manager: How much are they offering you?
Employee: It’s 170,000—a solid jump from my current 100,000.
HR Manager: We can give you a no-brainer offer—190,000.
Employee: In that case, I’ll stay and accept your offer.
HR Manager: Thank you. You’re one of our top performers, and we can’t afford to lose you.
Employee: I knew I could count on you.
Four months later…↓
@WinkelTroy@Simon_Ingari Doesnt matter what I own. “Cant afford to lose type employees” especially $190k type dont get canned 4 months later unless it’s in spite of. Horrible company to work for.
@SnapperSandwell@WinkelTroy@Simon_Ingari EXACTLY. Whether the story is true or not, the stance about loyalty to the company is absolute ignorance.
And the take about SEO speaks volumes about the intelligence level. Sure…trust AI with your SEO 🤦🏻♂️🤣
@WinkelTroy@seoforhire@Simon_Ingari Idk man 10 years ago I went from 50k to 90k annually just by looking for another job. This was after talking to hr about a raise/promotion based on my previous years work. The corporate ladder doesn’t exist, it’s all lateral/diagonal growth.
@WinkelTroy@Simon_Ingari A good company understands the value their employee brings to their workforce and gives them raises or bonuses accordingly. Bad companies don't do that and only react when needed.
@WinkelTroy@Simon_Ingari Who said he was looking elsewhere? When your good the headhunters won't leave you alone. Being loyal to a being is one thing. Allowing yourself to be used for cheap is another.
@WinkelTroy@Simon_Ingari I learnt very quickly after qualifying from my apprenticeship that employee loyalty is worth 0% & at a later job, that just because you're a top performer, you'll be got rid off if they decide wage budget is too high, despite those remaining being unable to do the job properly.
