GM. Just a couple of sandhill cranes, strolling through my campsite, minding their own business.

@PattyMurray You're also more likely to be struck by lightening than win a national lottery. I guess what you're really saying is that the people of WA shouldn't play any lottery games

The average person is more likely to be struck by lightning than they are to commit voter fraud. Seriously. That's a real stat. I'm voting NO on the SAVE America Act.

@Kronykal @khamenei_ir All the people these countries have working various accounts, it's hard to believe nobody responded to you just to troll. It's like, what are they even spending all that time and effort on?

@BrandonDonkey2 @sphincter987 Really right now a lot of it is just integrating the AI to the robots, and then having people that have the money and are willing to spend it. A lot more could be done autonomously, but nobody wants to spend that kind of money on things

@sphincter987 It will replace fieldwork eventually. Machines have taken all sorts of jobs that people thought would always be done by humans. Robots in car manufacturing, produce harvesting, etc. The manufacture of pre-fab homes will be taken over first.

As a carpenter & a contractor let me tell you this is total bullshit. I use AI regularly as a contractor. There are sectors of the construction industry that are moving towards AI. AI will never completely take over construction but it'll take over sizable parts of it.
Nithya Shri@Nithya_Shrii

10 jobs that are 100% safe from AI: 1. Dentist 2. Construction worker 3. Plumbing 4. Farming 5. Gardening 6. Carpentry 7. Cooking 8. Gardening 9. Welder 10. Electrician Did I miss any?!

@BrandonDonkey2 Cooking must be a joke. You can already feed the ingredients you have in your house and it can spit out a recipe for you. Turn your kitchen into an assembly line, and it's just a small amount of automation to make things happen after that

@RepThomasMassie @CarriePrejean1 Even worse than this in and of itself, now all of the people that were trying to say you were causing problems when you were actually correct, are going to feel entirely validated. This crap will make it harder for other people to be the voice of reason in the future

I support Carrie Prejean Boller 💯! She stopped by my office today with her husband, and I gave her one of the debt badges that I invented to show my appreciation for her bravery with respect to the White House Religious Freedom Commission. I’m inspired by her resolve.

@2A_Patriot_ Ya it's pretty rough in the comedy clubs. Packed in like cattle, and the chairs suck. I just try to get a seat when I'm facing the stage, and don't have to twist the whole show

@heckyessica @Simon_Ingari If they were getting paid for everything, I would agree. But a low level employee on a contract not getting paid for every hour, no I'm looking for another job the next day.

@Simon_Ingari If the company regularly did this, that’s a problem. And a problem where the employee should resign. But an occasional later meeting? Not a big deal. Gen Z is nuts

Manager: I have you scheduled for a meeting at 7 PM tomorrow. Gen Z: Is my attendance mandatory? Manager: Yes, we’re working with a client in another time zone. Gen Z: Okay, I’m happy to shift my hours to accommodate. Manager: Excuse me, no—you still start at 8 AM. Gen Z: If I’m working in the evening, then I’ll start later in the day. Manager: Okay, don’t watch the clock at this company. We work when we need to work. Gen Z: I’m contracted and paid for 40 hours a week, so that is what I work. Manager: That’s a career-limiting move. Tomorrow is a busy day; I’ll need you to start right promptly at 8:00 AM. Gen Z: Alright then, I will take the lieu time later this week. Manager: Again, that’s not how we operate at this company. You work hard when you need to, and you don’t watch the clock. Gen Z: Again, I work for the hours I’m paid for, and since overtime is not an option, I’ll go ahead and adjust my hours this week to accommodate the shift in the schedule. Manager: You’re not quite understanding the company culture we have here—we work all the time. Gen Z: And you’re not understanding that just because that is the way you do things does not mean that is how I’m required to do things as well. Manager: (Silence)

@heckyessica It is up lost places. Working She'll and Chevron is dumb though. There are exceptions, but they are nearly always higher than everyone else. The circle k was showing the difference in price between a credit card and their own card for payment.
