With the availability of parcel services like FedEx and UPS and online banking and payment options, the USPS has become a junk mail delivery service. I almost never mail anything anymore, or recieve anything of importance in the mail for business or my personal life.

@0ldmanGlen Every robot wouldn't need to be smart. It would have to be slaved to one smart robot set runs show. Is every guy on a construction crew a master tradesman or foreman or a superintendent? No. Most are worker bees who are told what to do and are not expected to think.

@BrandonDonkey2 It'll be a little while. Run at AI on a 24GB GPU. I've got ~600W of GPU running AI and it's really only good for making characters talk on a video game. It takes a massive model to actually figure things out. Every robot would need the equivalent of a 350W+ GPU just to be dumb.

@BrandonDonkey2 Mail service is an original constitutional right. It isn’t a for profit business and shouldn’t need to justify the expense of providing a right to citizens. Business Mailers don’t cost the PO, they pay to use the service that remains a constitutional right for the citizens.

@BrandonDonkey2 My 25 yr old son works in a warehouse, told me they were expanding & "upgrading" to "partial" automation....I told him to volunteer to learn how to operate the "automation" side, he dis just that. Company froze hiring added more automation. Son was transferred to run automation.

@BlueTRex1 And this morning I asked it to design awnings for a project. In about two minutes it cranked out multiple beautiful options to show a client. No one has claimed it's perfect or at its peak. The first automobile had a lot of problems but somehow it got better.

@BrandonDonkey2 Meh. I asked AI to fill out my NCAA bracket; it came back w/first-round match-ups of teams on opposite sides of the bracket. When I pointed that out & told it to use the ESPN bracket, it came back with "Good catch!! Here you go" & it was still wrong
