The algorithm here is so difficult at times. I am shadow banned, like I suspect, many others. Anything Iran or Somaliland has been erased from my feed despite that I follow many from both places. I believe that this will be corrected eventually.

Only in Arab media do you feel an undertone of gloating when innocent Israeli civilians are killed in war. Here, 27-year-old Israeli woman Nouriel Doubin is called a “settler.” Legally and politically, she’s not, because settlers are Jewish Israeli citizens who live in Area C of the West Bank. Doubin was killed in territory recognized by at least 165 nations and international law as Israel, not disputed whatsoever. But using the word “settler” makes her dirty and an aggressor, and justifies killing her. This is sick. Whatever the history, civility is required even in the worst kinds of bloody conflicts. It is this moral failure that produces atrocities like the October 7 massacre.

So I wrote a post saying what’s happening in the West Bank is apartheid, and then Shai Davidai responded, and his “gotcha” argument for why it’s not apartheid is that actually Jews and Palestinians live apart from each other. Hmmm, I wonder how one might say “apart” in Afrikaans.

@cenkuygur Palestine was created by the Oslo Accords. It has a government, raises taxes and theoretically can hold elections (but it is a dictatorship so doesn't). Borders have not been agreed upon and the government, the PA, is run like a criminal enterprise.

This is real. NOT satire. Maryland is debating putting tampons in the MEN'S bathrooms at the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles stadiums. Democrat Ken Kerr (who supports the initiative) argued the tampons need to be "adequately sized." Republican Kathy Szeliga fired back: "What does 'appropriately sized tampons' mean? Where exactly does a biological male put these tampons?" The question no one in the woke establishment wants to answer!

Andrew Kolvet said the case against Tyler Robinson is a "whopper" and they have him "dead to rights" with a "mountain of evidence." If that is the case, WHY does he care if people ask questions about it? Why does he say it is betrayal and idiocy to do so?
