It's not so much that I care that people unfollow me. Or follow me. I'm just somewhat curious about how people follow and unfollow? I feel like this follow/unfollow activity is all bots? This is from daily tracking. I wonder what it is like for accounts that have 20k+ followers?

@tamccullough They target active accounts. Nothing you can really control.. cause lots of bots will like tweets and those interactions draw other bots. Nothing you can really do to minimize it. The benefits of the bot action is that they end up bumping up the post due to activity.

@Xandreiz I started looking at it, because I would get notified of "5 people followed you" but I would be down. So I started to think, what's going on? And it makes me wonder if I interact with something that makes me a target for bots?

@tamccullough Honestly ive noticed i lost over 200 followers in the last year. Same assumption i assume it was bot purging
