@phantomthrasher People think we talk about the first half of ganes strikes hitting the back of Pereira's head (maybe 1-2 did) but then they disregard the next like 10 seconds where gane dropped like 5 12-6 elbows on the back of pereiras head (And one once those landed did Pereira go limp btw)

it is kinda crazy how Ciryl Gane has been rewarded for being a dirty fighter… multiple occasions too. Tai Tuivasa fight, obviously the Tom fight, even in that sequence he hit Alex in the back of the head multiple times great fighter, but he’s dirty

@LinwoodRose @uhvaimorre Dude the back of Pereira's head was directly below ganes elbow and he kept dropping it on the back of his head, elbows didn't "stray" they hit their target because game threw them at the back of his uead

I counted two that landed in the zone that would be illegal but they weren't illegal because they weren't intentional and because Alex was moving his head which caused them to stray from the intended target. Those are the rules.

I was picking Gane, I had no real expectations of Alex here, but it’s genuinely insane how you don’t have a single fight where the guy has won clean. Hitting 12-6 elbows to the back of the head of a middleweight and gets gifted another title shot, just incredible work
