@yamanakanobody If you are in rural America this is usually the case. I have a work truck, a farm truck, a backup truck, and a classic muscle car. The more urban of an area you get into, the less likely this is.

@Rothmus Twice in history Communism was nearly wiped off the face of the Earth (1921 & 1943). Twice Capitalism stepped in to save Communism from annihilation. Capitalism and Communism were allies. National Socialist Germany was their adversary. Stop trying to rewrite history.

Nazis and communists aren’t polar opposites. They’re rival brands of the same totalitarian poison. They fight so viciously because they’re competing for the exact same turf: absolute control over the state, the economy, and the individual.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

We're not going to travel beyond the solar system, according to Leonard Susskind. And neither are aliens, coming to visit us. We may not be alone, but we are stuck here for, essentially forever. 1. The nearest star is 4.24 light years away. The fastest spacecraft ever built would require 6,600 years to get there. 2. Surely we can just build faster spacecraft. The problem is to get to anywhere close to the speed of light, we need exponentially more energy. 3. Chemical rockets will just not work. Even fusion rockets won't work. Even 10% of the speed of light is not achievable. The Tsiolkovsky Rocket Equation prevents it. 4. Interstellar dust becomes hand grenades when traveling anywhere close to the speed of light. Ships break. 5. Space radiation will kill us over the time need to travel interstellar distances. Impossible to protect without massive shields, which require massive energy to accelerate and de-accelerate.

@thehorizon2b2t Don't count out nuclear rockets. Here on Earth, humans first reached space with a chemical rocket, followed by the first test of a nuclear weapon within 12 months of each other, 1944 and 1945 respectively.

@OneBadDude_ Dry pour technique achieves on average about 80% of the compression strength of wet pour concrete. Suitable for light duty, non-critical applications only.

We're going around the Moon. Come watch with us. Artemis II's four-astronaut crew is lifting off from @NASAKennedy on an approximately 10-day mission that will bring us closer to living on the Moon and Mars. The launch window opens at 6:24pm ET (2224 UTC). twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

America needs to start a political party specifically dedicated to the destruction of the state of Israel. It should be explicitly anti-Jewish in its tone. Not in an irrational way, but based on facts. So long as Jewish billionaires and other powerful Jews direct the random American man into death and destruction, we should stand up against the Jewish cabal, which really does exist. Including Kevin Warsh.

@TheStaad Intentional communities work. Working together in the real world, not just online, is step number one. Investing your capital/time into real property with like minded people, puts your skin in the game. When your finances and your future are on the line, shit gets real fast.

There's basically no difference between this and the exact same kinds of "dumb spring breaker" videos you'd see 10 years ago or 20 years ago or 30 years ago. I actually don't mind the fact that a bunch of 18 and 19 year old kids are totally ignorant about world affairs. That's healthier than obsessively doomscrolling alone in your basement or whatever. The problem is that these kids can vote. We should all just agree that 19 year olds are stupid and don't know anything, and that's basically fine, but it's also why they shouldn't be able to vote. Raise the voting age to 25.

Home Depot sells this house for just $43k After buying land, paying for labor to assemble it, getting utilities hooked up, pulling permits, pouring the driveway, setting up plumbing and electrical systems, landscaping, and property taxes, it only costs $497,000 to own your own home Why aren’t more people doing this?
