It's official: STRK staking is coming to Starknet! 🕺 This will enable the development of new business logic and use-cases, adding more utility to the STRK token and gradually increasing the decentralization of our network. And because it's coming this year, Starknet will be the first L2 to enable such a mechanism! 🎯 Available both testnet and mainnet during Q4 2024. Note that in this initial stage, neither StarkWare nor the Starknet Foundation will participate in the staking activity, and therefore, they will not be eligible for any staking rewards.
