The Pouch app's first main use case was processing payments on bitcoin island, Boracay. Then, it naturally became a tool for borderless payments and stacking sats. As previously announced via email, our app is rebranding to isle.ph, as a nod to where it all started with the bitcoin island project! This rebrand effort will take some time to fully transition over, but please note that our social media accounts will be updated soon to reflect the change.

We were able to get the complete list of #Bitcoin #crypto companies that were blocked. The block order came from the Philippine central bank (BSP) governor, directing internet service providers and telecom companies to prevent all access to these products.

Cannot believe it!! I'm calling banks tomorrow to explain bitcoin to them, I couldn't qualify for a mortgage until now because banks couldn't treat Bitcoin as an asset!!!

Bitcoin & Lightning Network payments are incredible, but I've come to the realization that people need their WAGES to arrive in bitcoin as a precursor to bolt cards & lightning point-of-sale. (@jack kudos for trying. I believe we will get there within a generation.)
