Hi streamer who uses Voicemeeter/Sonar and is still pretending they actually like using it. Elgato Wave Link is now free. There's no catch, it's actually free. You can use any microphone you want with it. It's only a beta atm but anyone can download it right now. This is going to be the new standard for splitting up your audio for your stream. You'll never going to want to use Voicemeeter/Sonar again (unless you're a nerd who likes arguing on Twitter). The UI has been completely overhauled — there's a lot you need to relearn — so I've made a brand new setup guide if you want to try it out. @WillowLeef_ It could also be the node in your new area, you could try giving your ISP a call to see if it's overloaded, we had that issue and they ended up putting in a second one and we never had an issue again :)

My new apartment is cursed 💀 Moving was supposed to be my fresh start and honestly, nothing has been more discouraging then tech and internet issues.. 🥺 The past 15 streams have either crashed, lost signal, black screened, OBS crashed, firmware issues, hardware issues and everything you could think under the sun. My analytics have tanked this month and I'm not worried but I'm definitely discouraged.. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has stuck around through all these issues and have been patient with me. I've fixed so many things I genuinely should have my IT certification right now 😂 From power issues and hiring electricians to BIOS updating until 5am, the FINAL BOSS IS MY INTERNET 😡 I'm doing everything I can to get streams back to normal, I have a new company coming in Thursday to try their luck, I have a coax A/B switch installed so I can run 2 companies worth of internet and I've let my rental property know so if the new modem/company/method fails, I'm getting a specialist coming to take a look. I have some big announcements to share but I want to wait until my streams are stable, so good news to come once I can stream without issue 🥺🤞 Again, thank you for being patient with me everyone, I'm trying my best to put a smile on each stream 🩷

@EllohimeTwitch Oof, the i9s are having issues too, that's what I have/had that was replaced under warranty. It might be possible you got another dud unfortunately. Is it possible to exchange it for another one, even if it's the same one? And I would look into the cpu voltage maybe

Any mutuals have a good PC sponsor? I hate asking for help but I need it. I have never had PC issues like I’ve been dealing with the last month. I cannot stop my PC from flatlining while playing modern games. It’s maddening. I’ve taken it to a tech. Tested all hardware says it’s OK. It works for a few days then back at it. Replaced cpu, reinstalled windows, tried everything. It’s been weeks. It’s realllllly fucking with my mental health. This is my livelihood. I can’t imagine replacing the whole PC is practical but I’m also completely put of ideas. I guess I’m taking it back to the tech in the morning, I’m just absolutely gutted atm. All I want to do is get back to streaming games without constantly worrying it’s gonna die on me. 😮‍💨

@EllohimeTwitch Also when I got my replacement for my 14900 chip they mentioned lowering the voltage on the CPU because that's what's frying the chip. Could be worth it to give their customer service a shout to see what they say.

@EllohimeTwitch Honestly try a different CPU, the 14900 chips are trash, there are so many lemons. Even to just see if you can run the PC without issues once you replace it.
