@AprilMac I interviewed Newmar about Buono since they were in Seduction of a Nerd together. She didn't know him well personally but only had the highest of praise for him as an actor and coworker. Said it was incredible how he had the ability to completely become a character.

@tonywendice1954 Sounds like you only saw him in five things max. It's fine, not every actor is for everyone but if you haven't watched more you're missing out. I believe my own eyes and the reviews and his co-actors, who told me how absolutely brilliant he was.

@_Alvadee What range? He played the same role over and over again: sad fat guy. He was fine. But that's all he was. Pleasence (note correct spelling) could do it all.

@tonywendice1954 Nah, Pleasance was a wonderful actor but so was Buono who was just terribly typecast in screen. He had an incredible range and I have yet to find a bad review. Even acting opposite Pacino and Maggie Smith he got the better ones.
