Early Voting for the Texas primaries starts TOMORROW, February 17th. Today at 3pm CST I'm airing an in-person interview with retired Colonel @ScottMacLeodTX, who is running for Congress in Texas 10th Congressional District. Just this morning, someone asked me if I think there are any sincere people in politics at all. I do! The truth is that most upright people who would make good leaders don't end up running and subjecting themselves and their family to all of the downsides, because they are too busy leading in their home, their church, their community, their business, the military, or in other ways. But once in a great while you meet someone with ALL of that experience and the necessary grit to enter the political realm, who is still motivated by integrity. I think MacLeod is one of these rare men. And he's running against Elon Musk's personal lawyer - kind of a David and Goliath situation in terms of financing. Colonel Scott MacLeod is a 31-year US Army veteran running for Congress in the Texas 10th Congressional District, stretching from Austin to East Texas. He was a Battalion Commander in Baghdad and served as President Trump’s border commander, as well as the Commander of the 6,000 Soldiers and Marines mobilized to Houston, Texas, during the Hurricane Harvey disaster. He is a businessman and the headmaster of a Christian school in the Austin area. I got to speak with him about border security, the immigration crisis, faith and family, TEXAS farmers and more. I hope you'll give him a listen!
