@AndrewScheer We have conservative premiers trying to run provinces like a business. Everything that is wrong with Ontario comes from Querns Park NOT Ottawa.

This is what Canada needs! A government that stops trying to run everything out of Ottawa and control your life. Instead: Let people live their lives and buy and sell things freely. A government that does a few things well, instead of too many things poorly.

Как можно в документе написать: "Страна гражданства неизвестна", когда у тебя перед глазами миллион копий паспорта и прошлого ворк пермита и строкой ниже стоит номер укр. паспорта с UA. А ещё ниже пометка CUAET и везде написано Украина.. Сейчас стул сгорит подо мной... 🤦🤣

Тысячи канадцев проснулись от того, что их кредитные линии... Отменены. И теперь им надо резко платить по счетам. 30 тысяч бравших кредиты под залог недвижимости сейчас в мыле ищут деньги. Ничего личного, банки снижают риски.

The intellectual dishonesty from Doug Ford and Chief Demkiw is staggering. To suggest that we should reject the findings made by an impartial judge during a public trial that were based on the expert evidence called by both Crown and DEF for this OPP’s report is absurd.

@Garnet_2203 Does MAID accept a signed directive prepared earlier in life when you are healthy stating that this is the route you choose to go should you become terminally ill later in your life?

I agree with you wholeheartedly. My mother died of lung cancer. Almost a full year of constant pain and suffering. We couldn’t use MAID not because she didn’t deserve that choice, but because she also had dementia and wasn’t legally allowed to consent. We had the conversation before she got sick she was clear. If she ever faced a terminal illness, she would choose MAID. But dementia took that choice away from her. Our only option was palliative care. And because it was during COVID, we were told we wouldn’t be able to be with her in her final moments if she stayed in hospital. So I brought her home and cared for with the support of the palliative care nursing team. There were ambulance calls when her blood sugar spiralled out of control. Pain medication didn’t work. Prednisone made things worse. In the end it was pure suffering. So she suffered. Bedsores. Pain. The slow, cruel reality of a terminal illness. People who haven’t lived this don’t understand what they’re taking away. These aren’t people choosing death over life they’re choosing peace over prolonged suffering. MAID is compassion.

The Doug Ford government’s repeated meddling, bigfooting and disrespect of the City of Toronto, along with many other municipalities across the province, clearly shows the need for effective solutions that empower local democracy. I want an Ontario where tax dollars are actually spent on priorities like improving education and healthcare, municipal governments are treated as partners and ultimately the focus is on you- not the Premier’s friends. Some of Ford’s recent actions include:   -Threatening to take over the City of Toronto’s stake in the Island Airport and refusing to allow local consultation on its future -Proposing to infill Lake Ontario to create an expensive new convention centre -Announcing a multi-billion dollar tunnel under the 401 -Destroying Ontario Place and replacing it with a private foreign-owned spa -Closing the Science Centre under false pretenses and spending an extra billion dollars on a smaller one at Ontario Place -Weakening tenant protections, making it easier for Landlords to evict renters - Moving on taking control of Exhibition Place   That's why I am renewing my call for Toronto to become a Charter City, with clearly and legally defined control over our own land, finances, governance, and elections. Regardless of whether a resident agrees or disagrees with any one decision City Hall makes, we all elect our local representatives to have the powers and abilities to make local decisions- and then be accountable for them.

The elderly are GENUINELY a different breed of humans dawg I've offered to help my neighbour put her bird feeder up on a higher platform multiple times, she's declined EVERY SINGLE TIME And now THE WHOLE FUCKIN BLOCK HAS RAT PROBLEMS DO YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST SAW???
