I zoomed in and slowed down the actual confrontation on this video down x4, and also messed with the contrast and lighting to try and clear it up. The original whole clip of this slowed version is just under :07 seconds. It’s clear he was not getting jumped, and as soon as Austin touched him Karmelo stabbed him almost simultaneously.

After watching him throughout this trial, I think I understand why. There was something about his demeanor that stood out to me. I can’t quite put it into words yet, but it left an impression. Prosecutors highlighted Anthony as he left the scene before he was arrested. This is the first time this video has been made available to the public. You can only see what appears to be a brief back and forth movement under the Memorial HS tent before Anthony runs out.
