Liberal woman is FURIOUS that Texas now requires students to read the Bible.. She wouldn’t have a problem if it were the Quran.

🇺🇸 Day 28 of Pride Month 🇺🇸 Today I celebrate Pride in the community that built me. Actual people who showed up with a casserole when someone passed away. Who organized a fundraiser when tragedy struck. Who provided child care for a single mom. Who noticed when a family was struggling and quietly handled it before anyone had to ask for help. That’s what community used to mean. Maybe it still does, in the places that haven’t forgotten. I think about the neighbors who looked out for each other. The church that became a second family. The small town where everybody knew your name and your business and showed up anyway. Community isn’t built through convenience. It’s built through showing up - to the funeral, to the hospital waiting room, to the kid’s ballgame even when your own kid isn’t playing. It’s built by people who understood that nobody gets through life completely on their own. I wouldn’t be who I am without the people who poured into me because they loved and respected my parents. Teachers, coaches, neighbors, church members, friends of my parents who became like family themselves. They shaped me as much as my own family did. I’m proud of where I come from. Proud of the community that raised me alongside the people who were supposed to. My village 🫶🏼

🇺🇸 Day 26 of Pride Month 🇺🇸 Today I celebrate Pride in resilience. Not the version that looks good on a motivational poster. The kind that gets out of bed after the diagnosis, the divorce, the loss, the failure that should have ended everything, and keeps going anyway. Resilience isn’t the absence of breaking. It’s what happens after you break. It’s the woman who lost everything and rebuilt slower and stronger than before. The man who failed publicly and tried again anyway. The parent who buried a child and somehow still shows up for the ones who are left. The American Dream was never handed to anyone. It was built on the resilience of spirit. Immigrants who arrived with nothing and built something. Pioneers who pushed west with no guarantee they’d survive the journey. Generations who lost it all in one season and clawed their way back in the next. Nobody gets through life unscathed. The people worth admiring aren’t the ones who avoided hard things, or whined that life was unfair. They’re the ones who walked straight through the middle of them and came out still standing, even if they came out different. I’ve had seasons that should have taken me out. Moments I didn’t think I’d survive, let alone build anything from. But God has a way of meeting you in the wreckage and rebuilding something out of what’s left. I’m proud of every time I got back up when staying down would have been easier. I’m proud of every person who’s done the same. We’re still here. That counts for something.

I pray it isn't so💔 If it is!? then... it is! ☕️ But... it does seem evil. If true!♡ Yikes!!! I yi yi.... This IS the worst thing I have heard, in terms of games being played on social media. *Hunger games. 😉* Heavenly Father, I'm reaching out to you for guidance and protection in/on this app, X! Let's bring in more positivity and expose those who aren't working together for the greater good. This platform is our sanctuary, where we form meaningful connections. Isn't trust and honesty what we're all striving for?🩷 Let's maintain the integrity of our community. X. Apparently, some individuals are exploiting personal stories, and that's unacceptable. Let's prioritize transparency and honesty in our pursuit of financial freedom!🫂😉 We gather here to teach, learn, and socialize, but above all, to have a good time. As a volunteer, I've found immense joy in contributing to this community without expecting rewards. Let's choose kindness, empathy, and honesty, and create a haven that's beneficial for all!♡ Written with: Meta Al God IS good!🙏

While doing laundry, my cat Marley decided today was the perfect day for an adventure. She slipped out the back door, hopped the fence, and vanished. The next hour was spent walking the neighborhood, calling her name, and checking every hiding spot I could think of. Turns out this fearless explorer had only made it a few feet away. We finally found her curled up in a pile of bushes on the other side of our fence. One hour of panic. Five minutes of adventure. Typical cat

Spent the last hour outside, relaxing on my back porch, sitting on a lawn chair in the heat, in the sun. Listening to the birds chirping, the wind crashing through the trees. Eyes closed. Just breathing nature in. I recommend everyone to do that. It definitely eased my soul.

If you see any Karmelo supporters doing this, please take a screenshot for documentation purposes and report it to Facebook. Do not share the link or repost it on any of your platforms. I am fully aware of what is happening. Please don’t overwhelm my inbox. I am already in contact with multiple parents and am working to connect some of them with legal assistance. I know who is responsible for spreading much of this, and I’m doing everything I can to help those affected. But I am overwhelmed. The majority of the kids in this photo were not even witnesses. One teenager, in particular, is being falsely accused of “throwing something away in a trash can” in the video from the day of the murder. That did not happen. Even worse, the child they’re accusing wasn’t even at the track meet and doesn’t even run track. Yet his entire family is now being targeted. They’re relentlessly harassing families and children while claiming to have “receipts.” The reality is that they don’t even have their facts straight… and they don’t care. Trying to correct them in their comments doesn’t help. It just gives them a boost. Don’t engage.

Four years ago today I wasn't celebrating Mother's Day with my kids. I was fighting for my life. I had been drinking whiskey excessively for years. That morning we had plans to go to brunch with my in laws. But my eyes were yellow. My body was swollen. I knew something was wrong but I poured one last shot anyway before they arrived. I put on fake glasses trying to hide my eyes. It didn't work. My mother in law took one look at me and said I needed to go to the hospital immediately. I had been to the ER for withdrawals before, but I agreed. My husband drove me. What I thought would be another withdrawal visit for IV fluids turned into being sent by ambulance to a bigger hospital. My liver was three times the size it should have been. My levels were critical. I was in much worse shape than I realized. I spent 8 days in the hospital, IVs and medications to try to get my liver functioning normal again, painful abdomen shots daily to prevent blood clots, and blood draws twice a day. I lost all my strength and couldn't even get to the bathroom without help. One of the doctors even looked at me and said most people in my condition don't usually walk out of here alive. I proved him wrong. After eight days I walked out with a walker and started the long journey of getting my strength, my health, and my life back. That was four years ago today. Four years sober. Down 100 lbs. Healthier than I've ever been. Present for my family. Living a life I didn't think was possible. If you're struggling, please don't wait until your body forces you to stop. There is another side to this. I'm living proof.
