The issue isn’t that people are bad people. The issue is that many people don’t really know themselves and like to believe they’re someone they’re not. Their self perception is based off of their internal dialogue rather than their real life actions. So you’re dealing w people who can’t have integrity because they are still rejecting and in denial about how others perceive them based on what they actually do.

Stop telling kids their parent who abandoned them ‘loves them’. You aren’t helping. It’s confusing. Love is a behavior, not just feelings. Telling a child abandonment can exist in love is cruel and sets them up for a lifetime of bad relationship choices.

@itsthewealth4me Ppl are sending their kids to kindergarten not knowing how to spell/write their first & last name, not knowing how to dress themselves, not potty trained. You’d be floored at the lack of effort some parents put in vs the onus they put on the schools.

I'm very concerned seeing people say it's the schools fault, and they don't have time to make sure their kid can read

I can’t emphasize enough how accessibility benefits everyone. Ramps, elevators, ventilated air, automatic doors. Caring about accessibility is caring about your future. You will become disabled unless you die young. Investing in the disability community is investing in yourself.

Barclays did more for the community than apartments would have .. when the stadium opened you had to have a Brooklyn address to even apply. They put black businesses in the stadium. They were even signing up workers with Carver bank which is black owned
