I dislike it when people complain about the realistic factor. The fun aspect of NASCAR sim racing at least started declining once they started adding in all of the realistic stuff in my opinion. If you were racing back in 2013-2018 era you’ll understand what I’m saying. It wasn’t hard to drive, but it wasn’t easy.

DTM and SuperGT shared the same exact technical regulations from 2019 to 2021, even racing together at Fuji in 2019. Class One was also set to be introduced in IMSA. The hope was for Class One to go worldwide, but never happened due to costs and lack of interest from OEMs.

I was in that trap in my early days. Then I just started having fun, learning each sim's quirks, and if I didn't like it I didn't play it.

Feel free to poke fun at him but it gets eyes on NASCAR.
That being said...clout alone shouldn't be a determining factor for getting into a professional touring series/racecar.
Money and clout alone shouldn't get you a license to drive at this level.

Getting into the upper splits in LMU and the racing is getting GUUUUD.

I think the only car on iRacing we got before it actually hit the track (on the road side) was the M4. Everything else is at least a 6 month wait.
Still waiting on the Lexus, Lambo Evo 2 (now Temerario), Valk, Oreca LMP2....
