Many already have. Eventually Medicare will make it very hard or even impossible in some areas to receive elective arthroplasty care.

Inflationary changes vs conversion factor for Medicare reimbursement - over 30 years reimbursement to surgeons for TKA and THA have decreased while inflation continues to rise - cuts continue - soon reimbursement will be lower than the cost of care and access will suffer
