The Top 14 is very wealthy and clearly the strongest domestic competition globally, but French international rugby suffers as a result. They don't care about July tours, so what? Well, it's 20-30% of the international calendar. That counts for cohesion building and experience. Blew the home World Cup in 2023, now they've got to do it on the road next. And the top players only play away games in the 6N, 2 or 3 per year. Will it be a surprise to see France fail in Australia in 2027? No, it won't.

Maintenant, on peut s’interroger sur la pression qui repose sur les épaules d’un ou d’une arbitre pour une finale. Nationale, continentale ou mondiale. Rare sont les arbitres qui arrivent à y être excellents. Les erreurs sont décuplées. Les doutes aussi.
