How to grow as an artist without getting suspended.
The method I discuss here is not specific to art but applies to all fields.
1. Don’t do bulk reposts. It is just a short-term growth tactic which easily gets you suspended. I lost four of my paid subscribers because they were heavy reposters.
2. Use slow but genuine methods. Post 1-3 times a day. If you don’t have anything to post, just share your thoughts or ask a question.
3. For long-term growth, keep your posts within a particular niche. Do not post in all areas. It is slow but the results are long-lasting.
4. Thoughtfully engage with others. Do not spam; share what you think. If you don’t know what to say, just agree or drop a like.
5. Do not play the follow-unfollow game. If someone’s content is truly good (like my art 😕), just follow or subscribe to support them. It doesn’t matter if they follow back. Follower count rarely matters.
6. If you reply to 50 people, 10 will reply back. Once they reply, your content will start showing on their timeline. It is slow but works.
7. Refrain from joining any engagement groups.
8. If you truly like someone, drop them a DM. It is the best way to grow as people in DMs tend to remember you.
