Let me clarify a few things: Lobbying for targeted sanctions against Pakistani generals/politicians is not the same thing as lobbying for sanctions against Pakistan–it’s lobbying against serial human rights violators who you continue to support without any shame. You already know the distinction, but you choose to be dishonest. There’s no easy cure for that. No amount of “mediation” work excuses the repression these same generals/politicians and predatory institutions inflict on the Pakistani people. It’s both sad and pathetic how you and other apologists for military fascism keep recycling the military’s same tired narrative: “we are doing important work abroad, so ignore our disgusting human rights abuses at home” Finally, it’s pretty hilarious that you expect me to “show” you the scores of congressional meetings we’ve convened to call for the blocking of military aid to Israel, the thousands of dollars our members have raised for pro-Palestinian political candidates, and the dozens of digital trucks/campaigns we have run for Palestine and against Israel
