Nigeria’s power grid collapsed today, briefly cutting supply to zero before partial recovery to 80MW. Aba in Abia State remained powered by Geometric’s independent plant. Authorities yet to explain the cause as frustrations mount over recurring failures.

They should be taken to lake Kariba immediately after receiving the devastating news of their firings and left to cry excessively at the lake. The large volume of tears they produce will raise the water level and end load shedding. 👍🏾

The key word is a minimum of , not exactly 8 hours. Therefore your load shedding session can even be 24 hours long. We don't expect any questions about schedules and times

For the record, we don't export power to those countries. It is smuggled there because the borders are porous. We have since asked The Minister of Home Affairs to instruct the Police patrolling borders for mealie meal & maize smugglers to catch power smugglers as well

@_ZESCO But why are you exporting power to Malawi and Congo if you know you have no capacity to supply your own citizens? Stop exporting and concentrate on the Zambian people. We can't be wasting our relish all because of you. 2021 is approaching, wait and see.
