@CrimsonSmasher @MaskedBatter Probably because japanese is one of the hardest languages in the planet my man Spanish and Portuguese are basically direct translations to English. Most of the structure is the same It's not even remotely the same thing I know Portuguese, I know english, I study japanese

@__aly2 @MaskedBatter There's a 200+ page book detailing how much effort and care Toby and 8-4 took to make the localization good. It's not just something Toby can read an email for once a week.

@__aly2 @ImagesDeltarune If an artist says he doesn't want to compromise his vision for the sake of doing something just because everyone else has done it, that's his decision. I'd rather never have a single official translation than have something be done purely for the sake of catering to any audience.

Ultimately, UT/DR are a passion project for him, and I believe no artist should be forced to do something.

@__aly2 @MaskedBatter The amount of people playing fan translations are nothing compared to the amount of people playing an official release. Most playing the fan translation understand it's unofficial and subject to change.
