@deweibs @_luckylck I think that guy is making the same mistake. A male character can be aimed at men who do like male characters, but not in a romantic way, and doesn't have to be made for "husbando enjoyers." If you think about it, he's saying the exact opposite of what I'm saying.

The NTE game officially launched in China today. Currently, male characters do not have dating features for ❷ and ❸. ❶Memories ❷iving together ❸Strolling through the city together (holding hands)

@asthelore I'm not saying ur being a hater (u seem p chill) but I don't understand why u have a problem with us complaining about companies so obviously trying to take advantage of a certain demographic of consumers. They are bringing this upon themselves tbh

@_luckylck @deweibs I don't want to sound like a hater because that's not who I am, but these chars, especially the male ones in these waifu games, don't sell as well. You're asking them to invest the same amount in a char that won't sell as well. They have the same price, but do they sell equally?

@asthelore @deweibs If that's the case then why do they insist on including male characters at all? Maybe bc one Lads banner mogs them & women buy mad merch. & it's obvious people would complain about a product being sold at the same price with less content. You make no sense arguing w us about it

@asthelore @deweibs It's not valid for characters that cost the same amount of money to have a different amount of content. If ALL the girl characters have the function but the men don't, it's not a matter of 'if they're friends or have chemistry story wise or not'

@deweibs @_luckylck How are we supposed to know how they're written? If we haven't even played the game yet, and if, when we do play it, the male characters really are MC-sexual, I'll agree with you completely, but if they're written simply as good friends, that would mean my point is valid.

@asthelore @deweibs You may not personally want to enjoy those functions with male characters, but you can't speak for everyone. If they're not going to give male characters the same functions and amount of content, discount them or don't have them.

@_luckylck @deweibs Why can't a male character be aimed at men? The MC can easily have a best friend in the game, a friendship with no sexual attraction involved. Take a West example: there are plenty of men who admire Iron Man. If he appeared in a gacha, they wouldn't hesitate to pull him.

@seventh6565 @deweibs Where winds meet has some content for m/m & there is lots of boys love, but not explicit. Have you never heard of danmei? They can give SOMETHING even if it's not exactly what the girl characters get. If they're not going to bother to try, don't include male characters at all
