Wow this is embarrassing!
Pete Hegseth quoted a fake Bible verse from Pulp Fiction at a Pentagon speech and prayer session yesterday.
The prayer was an adaptation of the monologue delivered by Samuel L. Jackson’s character. In the movie, the character falsely attributes it to Ezekiel 25:17 before a killing, saying:
“The path of the downed aviator is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of camaraderie and duty, shepherd the lost through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to capture and destroy my brother. And you will know my call sign is Sandy 1 when I lay my vengeance upon thee.”

Congratulations to former Portadown midfielder, @GaryPeebles4 who has been appointed to the board of directors at Scottish Premiership club St Mirren.
Gary played for the club on loan in 1993 before making a permanent move to Shamrock Park in 1995 where he won a Premier League title, League Cup, Ulster Cup and Mid-Ulster Cup before departing in 1997 for Newry Town.
We wish Gary every success in his new role.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Sammy Johnston a few days ago, aged 58. Sammy played with St. Johnstone, Ayr United, Partick Thistle and Stranraer among others. As always on here we remember our heroes in card or sticker form. Rest in Peace Sammy.

Increasing calls for an independent investigation into the deaths of 15 medical and rescue workers in Gaza. Israel maintains that six of the 15 were Hamas members, but that wouldn’t be an acceptable defence in court. The deliberate killing of medics and paramedics is a war crime.

Lucy Connolly should be released immediately and reunited with her family. The severity of her sentence is completely unjustifiable and a shocking example of two tier justice which now prevails in Britain. Tony Blair’s constitutional vandalism in the mid-2000s abolished judicial accountability. We are now suffering the consequences of a system that has been captured by leftist ideology. Judicial appointments should be the responsibility of a democratically accountable Lord Chancellor - as they were prior to 2005.
