@xlorentzen @cwik_greg Tried to get The Lime Twig reissued when I was at ND. Before my time, they had relaunched The Second Skin in 2005, with a preface by Jeffrey Eugenides, but maybe it didn't sell well enough for my pitch to be convincing.

Very sorry to hear of António Lobo Antunes’s passing. A genuine literary giant who refused to be silent about Portugal’s fascist and colonial history, and a novelist who pushed the boundaries of the form. Que descanse em paz.
