Sandfall Interactive confirmed via El País: • A limited number of pre-existing UE Marketplace 3D assets were used • None were created with generative AI • No GenAI assets are in the final game • AI tools were briefly tested in 2022 for placeholder textures • Those placeholders were removed within five days after launch and replaced with intended textures Anyway. My usual reaction when finishing a large series is relief. It’s just always good to finish something. I’ve felt no such relief after finishing Sun Eater. I find myself wishing it was still going on. I wish I had another Sun Eater book to look forward to.

"This is the toughest animation I've worked on" means "I had to type in 25 slightly different sentences". AI generated art isn't creative at the best of times, but these people acting like they're fucking Studio Ghibli is infuriating beyond belief.
